The EVOlution of TEChnology! Ingersoll announces Evo-Tec, the next generation in their MAXline family! A dynamic combination of strength and stability lift chip control to a new level. Longer tool life results from a larger insert seating surface plus a stronger cutting edge.
The multi-purpose insert works well in all materials, its primary land, dramatically improving cutting edge strength. 4-edged inserts offer an economical advantage over the 2-edged competition and a DOC capability of up to .420". Available corner radii are .031", .062", .093", & .125"r. Cutter diameters range from 1.250" thru 4.00" and coolant/air through the tool is available. Medium and High Density versions are also available.
HiPosMicro Hi-Feed
Hi-PosMicro cutters have gained a reputation as a replacement for solid
carbide. Now Ingersoll introduces the new UOMT0602TR high-feed insert,
which can be used in all Hi-PosMicro square shoulder face mills and end
mills. Hi-PosMicro becomes the fastest indexable product for small
diameters on the market with feed rates up to 1000 ipm! Available in
grades IN2505 and IN2030, the high feed insert especially targets
smaller machining centers in all industries.
These S-MAX Tangential Finish Face Mills are designed to do finish cuts
only and many times can eliminate subsequent grinding. The surface
should be pre-machined with another face mill before using the S-MAX
Finishing Face Mill. This assures the Depth of Cut (DOC) is consistent
and controlled. Surface finishes below 32 microinches are easily
obtained. Finishes into the single digits are obtainable if extra care
is taken.

The new Power-Feed+ high feed cutter from Ingersoll Cutting Tools
utilizes a high-feed trigonal shaped insert that offers six cutting
edges. The high speed machining insert has a strong, heavy edge prep
and durable, wear-resistant substrates and coatings. The robust cutter
bodies are constructed of premium H13 and 4340 steel materials. When
high speed roughing is the challenge, the Power-Feed+ is the answer.

PROFILE
Ingersoll Cutting Tool Company has long been one of the world's
leading suppliers of metal removal tooling. Since our first cutting tool
patent in 1889, we have strived to provide the most innovative and
productive metal removal solutions on the market.
We pioneered the development of indexable carbide end mills. We were the
first to introduce the On-Edge insert configuration. We received the first
patent for an indexable ball nose end mill and quickly followed with the
first two-effective ball nose.
Today, Ingersoll Cutting Tools offers the widest range of milling
products in the world and, with our close ties to the many various
resources of the IMC Group of companies, we stand poised to bring forth
even more exciting innovations to the metal removal process.
New
facilities, equipment and technologies will allow us to serve our customers
at an even higher level.
Our network of Sales Engineers is an unparalleled and invaluable
resource of technical tooling application expertise and customer support.
These highly trained, skilled individuals are available to you on-site in
your facility until our products are performing the way you expect them to.
We are more than just a tooling supplier. We want you to view us as
partners; as a specialized extension of your own process engineering
capabilities. We have the resources and experience you need to make
informed and effective tooling decisions.
Our goal is to help you remain competitive in your rapidly changing
manufacturing environment. You can design the perfect shop, buy the most
advanced machines and hire the best people, but the tooling is where the
rubber hits the road. It all comes down to removing metal quickly and
efficiently for the lowest total cost.
